Man held for killing 18-yr-old daughter

A man was today arrested for allegedly murdering his 18-year-old daughter and dumping her body in the tool box of a school bus in Sector 5 here, police said.
Sanjay, along with a relative Amin, murdered his daughter by strangulating her after beating her on August 19, Police Commissioner Alok Mittal told reporters here.
The accused told police that his daughter used to talk on mobile phone frequently.
On the night of August 18, she was speaking to someone when Sanjay got angry and beat her. Afterwards, he along with Amin took liquor and strangulated Shivani at about 4 AM on August 19, Mittal said.

After committing the crime, they dumped the dead body in the tool box of a school bus which was parked on a ground in Sector 5, he said.
The driver of the bus came to know about the dead body on August 21 when he noticed foul smell emanating from the tool box, he said, adding that police lodged FIR against unknown persons and started its investigation.
The police doubted Sanjay's statement after he identified the dead body and later arrested him and his accomplice for committing the crime, Mittal said.
