The accused Aslam was arrested by Ghaziabad police after the girl, who was undergoing treatment at GTB hospital in New Delhi, told the doctors attending her that she was raped by the accused and pushed into flesh trade, SHO of Sahibabad police station Haridayal Singh Yadav said.
She told doctors that she was brought from a West Bengal village by one Babu to Shalimar Garden in Ghaziabad in December 2014.
Babu then allegedly sold her to Aslam who pushed her into flesh trade and also used to rape her regularly, Yadav said, adding that due to continuous mental and physical torture the victim fell ill and was admitted to the hospital.
The girl has been kept under custody of a Delhi-based NGO, Yadav said, adding that a manhunt has been launched to nab Babu.
