The mother of the deceased is residing in Rohtak. As such, he used to give his Rohtak address instead of Rohini address so that the local police of Delhi could be kept in the dark regarding his criminal activities.
"Goel and Pradeep continued their contacts after release from jail. Pradeep was wanted in a shootout case in Rohtak and Goel harboured him in his office.
On the fateful night, they were playing cards along with two other friends. There was some altercation and Goel abused Pradeep verbally. Later the two friends left and then Pradeep allegedly opened fire at Goel," Jaiswal said.
Goel was completely engrossed in watching the cricket match on TV and was listening to the match rating on the mobile phone when Pradeep hit him with a country made pistol in the forehead. PTI SJY
