Man held with 45 pouches of illicit liquor in Samba

A man was arrested after 45 pouches of illicit liquor were recovered from him, the police claimed today.
The accused, identified as Dev Ram, was arrested from Bari Brahmana in the Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, a police officer said.
The accused is resident of Chhattisgarh and was presently living at Kheri in Bari Brahmana, he said.
A case under the Excise Act has been registered against the accused, the police official said.
