The Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) has re-elected Man Jit Singh of Multi Screen Media, which runs channels like Sony Entertainment Television and SET Max, among others, as its president for 2013-2014.
The IBF Board, in its meeting in Mumbai yesterday, also elected Rahul Johri (of Discovery) as vice-president, besides the continuing vice-presidents, Punit Goenka (of Zee Entertainment) and Rajat Sharma (of Independent Media).
Sunil Lulla, MD and CEO of Times Television network was elected the IBF Treasurer.
"The last year has been very eventful for our industry with digitisation phases 1 and 2, considerable progress on a new measurement system under BARC, and a shift from TRPs to TVTs. Substantial challenges continue in the current year," Singh said after being re-elected.
The IBF represents leading television broadcasters and over 300 general entertainment channels on its board.
