A Delhi resident was killed when his car hit a tree along NH 58 early in the morning today.
Daksh Bansal, of Lajpat Nagar area in Delhi, was returning home from Haridwar when the incident happened, a senior police officer said today.
As per preliminary investigations, Bansal may not have noticed the tree, the officer said, citing fog as a possible reason for the low visibility.
The impact of the collision was such that the car overturned two times, he said.
Bansal was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, the officer said.
