Man killed by 2nd wife's kin for frequent visits to first wife

A 30-year-old man was murdered allegedly by relatives of his second wife as they did not like his frequennt visits to his first wife in Banduwa village of Palamu district.
DSP Ajay Kumar said the body of the victim, Jitendra Ram, a driver by profession, was found inside a bag today.
Ram who had a daughter from his first wife fell in love with another woman Malti Devi, who belonged to other caste, few months ago.
A panchayat was convened to settle the issue and an inter-caste marriage was arranged, he said.
Despite his second marriage, Ram used to visit his first wife regularly and frequency of his visit increased in the recent past, the DSP said.
The relatives of Malti did not like it and objected to such visits. The relatives of Malti allegedly killed him with a sharp weapon and the body was stuffed in a bag before it was dumped at Mangardaha locality, he said.
A case has been registered on the statement of the victim's father Naresh Mochi, he said.
The family members of Ram's second wife were absconding.
