Rival factions pelted stones and opened fire following a row over a disputed pathway in the village killing Gyanesh (22) on the spot, police sources said.
Five others of both the factions were injured in the incident and were admitted to a hospital.
Meanwhile infuriated over the incident, the locals placed the body on the Etah-Bareilly road and resorted to traffic jam for over five hours.
It was only after senior officials reached the spot and pacified the protestors that the road was cleared, sources added.
