Man killed in dispute over 10 rupees

A 21-year-old youth was killed allegedly by three persons, after a dispute over 10 rupees in a game of playing cards, in Majalgaon tehsil in the district, police said today.
The victim, Angad Ingale, was playing cards with two of the accused last evening, when they had an argument over Rs 10, which they had kept as prize money, Majalgaon rural police said.
The confrontation turned violent, in which Kishor Mungulwar stabbed the victim in the stomach with a knife and Ramu Takkalwar bludgeoned his neck with a stone. Chitrabai Mungulwar, who is Kishor Mungulwar's wife, then strangulated him, leading to his death, they said.
Police rushed to the spot and sent the body for post-mortem, they said.
A case was registered and Kishor Mungulwar and Ramu Takkalwar were arrested, police said, adding Chitrabai Mungulwar would be nabbed soon. Further investigation is on.
