The incident took place at Pankha Road at around 8:30 pm after which the three persons, who were on the scooter were rushed to a hospital, where one of them, identified as Shiv Kumar, was declared dead on arrival, police said.
After the incident, the bus driver fled the scene and the bus was vandalised allegedly by a group of agitated local residents, police said, adding, the situation came under control after senior officials intervened.
