Man kills father, injures son within few hours

A student was injured and his father killed by the same man in a span of a few hours at Kazigram area in Englishbazar police station limits, the police said today.
Sushanta Rajjak, a class 12 student, who was riding a motorcycle in a dark and desolate stretch of Kazigram area, surrounded by mango groves, was suddenly confronted by Biswanath Rajjak last evening who suspected Sushanta of stealing mangoes.
An argument ensued following which Biswanath attacked Sushanta with a sharp weapon, the police said.
Sushanta was admitted to hospital with injuries, the police said.
Meanwhile, when Sushanta's father Feku Rajjak, a daily labourer in a brick kiln, came to know about the incident, he confronted Biswanath.

Biswanath also attacked Feku, who succumbed to his injury on way to the hospital, the police said.
Biswanath was arrested.
