Lingarajan, hailing from Muthukamanpatti, used to frequently quarrel with his 65-year-old father and mother (55) demanding his share of the family property, they said.
After a bout of quarrel this morning, he allegedly attacked his parents with a hoe, fatally injuring them, before fleeing the house. Police have launched a hunt for Lingarajan.
