Man sets himself ablaze at collectorate; condition serious

: A 52-year-old man created a flutter at the Collectorate when he set himself ablaze to protest against the alleged false complaint given by relatives over a property dispute and refusal to give him his share of the property.
Police personnel at the spot rushed him to hospital, where his condition is stated to be serious.
Police quoted his relatives as saying the man was a drunkard, was squandering the money and that they were only protecting him
The man however alleged officials had not helped him to get his genuine share in the property though he petitioned them several times and had 'harassed' him following the false complaint given by his relatives.
