Hitendra Nagwani (32) was critically injured last night after his gun went off accidentally, they said, adding that he was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
According to Nagwani's family, the jeweller was cleaning the pistol when he accidentally pulled the trigger, circle officer Ashutosh Dwivedi said.
The body has been sent for postmortem examination, he said.
