Man shot at by suspected militants

A 32-year-old man was shot at and critically injured by suspected militants in Pulwama district of south Kashmir, police said today.
Jehangir Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Karimabad village, was fired upon by unidentified militants near his house last night, a police officer said.
He said Bhat suffered bullet injuries in both the legs and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital where from he was referred to Srinagar for specialised treatment.
No militant outfit has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.
Police have registered a case and started investigations.
