Man shot dead in Mandsaur over petty issue
Press Trust of India Mandsaur (MP) A man was shot dead in broad daylight in the crowded fish market area of the town here today by a person with whom he had a dispute over some petty issue, a police official said.
The incident took place in the crowded fish market when after some dispute over money, Lalit alias Deepu Luhar (26) whipped out a 9 MM pistol and shot Sonu Goswami (32) from close range following which he died on the spot, city superintendent of police (CSP) Rakesh Mohan Shukla said.
The duo had fought earlier over selling fish in the market but had later compromised, he said.
Police have caught the accused and also seized the weapon used in the incident, the CSP said, adding, further investigations are on.
