Janaki and Dinesh had a scuffle after consuming liquor after which the latter stabbed him in Kawalpur village last night, they said.
Police said that Janaki was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Dinesh was nabbed by villagers and handed over to police, they said.
