Man stabs wife in moving bus in Coimbatore

A 20-year-old man today fatally stabbed his wife in a moving bus in full public view near Mettupalayam here, police said.
Udaya and Anandi (18), who were in love, got married six months ago and used to pick up frequent quarrels due to differences of opinion, they said.
This morning when Anandi was travelling in a government bus, Udaya approached her to sort out some issue.
Since she was not convinced, Udaya drew a knife he was carrying and stabbed Anandi on her chest and escaped by jumping out of the bus.
The driver took the bus to the nearby Government Hospital, where Anandi succumbed, police said.

Police are on the look out for Udaya, who is absconding.
