Man strangulated to death; Wife, daughter, her friend held

A man was strangulated to death allegedly by his wife and daughter's friend at his residence in Lanka area here, police said today.
Police have arrested wife Aparna, daughter Divyanshi, her suspected lover Harshvardhan and their driver Mahendra in this connection, Station Officer Rohania police station Shivanand Mishra said.
According to police, the incident happened on December 17 when Rajesh Singh, a contractor by profession, was murdered by Aparna and Harshvardhan.
The body was wrapped in a bed sheet and thrownin an abandoned area in the outskirts of the city by them, following which his body was found next day in Bachhav area, they said.

Mishra said that while Aparna was arrested onDecember 23, their driver, daughter and her suspected lover were arrested yesterday.
According to Mishra, Aparna hatched the conspiracy as she was being "tortured" by him from the past several years and wanted to gain control over his properties.
