Man wanted in murder case arrested after 9 years

A man wanted in a murder case nine years ago and carrying a reward of Rs 5,000 on his head has been arrested from Mansurpur village in the district, police said today.
The accused, Praveen, had been evading arrest since August 21, 2008 after allegedly killing a farmer, Rajkumar, SSP Anant Dev said.
He was arrested yesterday and a pistol seized from his possession, the officer said.
Meanwhile, a court here sent the accused to police custody till August 22.
