Man who shot dead a youth remanded to police custody

A man, who allegedly shot and killed a youth talking to his daughter near his home at Nakashipara in West Bengal's Nadia district, was today remanded to six days in police custody by a local court today.
Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Prem Dorji Muktan passed the order when Rafikul Seikh, who allegedly killed the youth Sajarul Seikh, was produced at the court today.
The youth's father had lodged a complaint with the police against Rafikul charging him with murdering his son.
Rafikul had spied on his teenaged daughter and Sirajul speaking through a window in his house at night and in a fit of rage allegedly shot at him. The youth, a standard eleven student, fell on the ground and was taken to the hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The two were allegedly in a relationship.
The man fled after the incident and was apprehended by the police late in the night and arrested.
