Manappuram Finance Q2 net declines 17 pc at Rs 160 cr

Manappuram Finance today reported a 16.6 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 160.37 crore for the September quarter.
The company had recorded a net profit of Rs 192.40 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, Manappuram Finance said in a statement.
The board has also approved equity infusion of Rs 50 crore in its subsidiary Asirvad Microfinance, a separate statement said.
Total revenue during the quarter also declined to Rs 839.80 crore as against Rs 848.95 crore in the same period of the last fiscal.
The company's consolidated Assets under Management (AUM) was reported at Rs 13,723 crore, it said.
The company's board also approved payment of interim dividend of Rs 0.50 per share of face value of Rs 2, it added.
