Manipal Hospitals, part of Manipal Education and Medical Group, Friday marked its entry into the national capital with the launch of its multi super specialty 380-bed hospital in Dwarka.
The hospital aims to provide specialised tertiary and quaternary care, Manipal Hospitals said in a statement.
"It is a proud moment for Manipal to foray into the national capital after being in the industry for close to 60 years," H Sudarshan Ballal, chairman of Manipal Hospitals, said.
The launch of this hospital is in line with the group's vision to strengthen presence across the country, he added.
The hospital also houses a robust fleet of ambulances Manipal Ambulance Responsive Services (MARS), the statement said.
The group operates a chain of multi-specialty hospitals with over 5,200 beds and has footprints across Bengaluru, Manipal, Mangalore, Vijayawada, Salem, Goa, and Jaipur, it added.
The group also operates a facility in Klang in Malaysia, Manipal Hospitals said.
