Manipur to provide vocational training to surrendered ultras

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh today said that the state government would provide vocational training to surrendered militants of the state to enable them maintain their livelihood.
Biren said this in a press conference after a self styled commander of the banned outfit Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP Lamphel group) surrendered with two 9 mm pistols and nine ammunition.
Appealed to all to leave violence, the chief minister said that the government was open for dialogues in order to bring development in the state.
