Manjhi for strengthening single window system to woo investors

Single window system would be implemented in Bihar, state's Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi today said.
"We have decided to implement the single window system to ensure expeditious approval of all investment-related projects," Manjhi said while presiding over 'Udyami panchayat' held on last the Monday of every month.
"In view of our decision to woo private investment, the single window system must be strengthened and sharpened so that investors does not have any problem in getting approval for their projects," the Chief Minister said.
"Wherever you (officials) find any lacunae in the single window system, you must promptly step in to remove those obstacles for convenience of the investors," Manjhi said.
He also urged the investors to set up industrial units in Bihar for which the state government would extend all help.
It may be mentioned that Manjhi had recently visited London to woo foreign investment to Bihar.

The Chief Minister urged the industrialists of Bihar to become a partner in 'Make Bihar' project and take initiate to set up industrial projects so that private investors from other parts of the country and abroad are encouraged.
Manjhi reiterated the demand for grant of special status to Bihar and said the state government would continue to press with the Centre in this regard so that private investors get various incentives for setting up industrial units in the state.
A strategy would be formulated soon to chalk out a course of action to step up demand for grant of special status to Bihar, he added.
