"You should not flee from your village for whatever reason," Manjhi told around 300 Mahadalit families, while announcing to turn Nepura, under Tekari police station area, a model village with various facilities.
He said an approach road would be constructed to improve road connectivity to the village, besides Mahadalit families would get houses under Indira Avas Yojana (IAY).
A PCC road and a permanent police outpost would also be set up in Nepura, the Chief Minister said.
About 300 Mahadalit families had decided to flee Nepura village allegedly after they were terrorised by people belonging to the upper caste, who had killed one Arjun Yadav for daring to contest for the post of president of the Primary Agriculture Credit Society.

Top district officials had met the fleeing villagers and urged them to return to their village on the assurance that adequate security would be provided to them.
The Gaya Police had arrested six persons on Friday last in connection with the Arjun Manjhi murder case.
