Mankind Pharma launches hypertension drug at Rs 7.5 per tablet

Mankind Pharma today said it has launched anti-hypertensive drug Zolahart at an affordable price of Rs 7.50 per tablet.
The company said the price of its product was 51 per cent lower than that of the other competitor drugs in the segment.
"At Mankind, we endeavour to bring the latest innovative therapies with assured quality that address primary healthcare challenge in India-world class quality at an affordable price," Mankind Group chairman and founder R C Juneja said in a statement.

Nivea India appoints Neil George as MD
* Skin care major Nivea India today said it has appointed Neil George as the new Managing Director for India.

George has taken over from Rakshit Hargave who was last year promoted to Senior VP, India, Sub Sahara Africa and Head Sales Beiersdorf Near East, the company said in a statement.

NIVEA India, the subsidiary of Beiersdorf AG, Germany was launched in India in 2005.
Neil has over 20 years of FMCG experience with P&G, Reckitt Benckiser, Diversey and in the last 5 years, been with Beiersdorf in varied senior marketing roles.
Carlson Rezidor Hotel ties up with Dineout
* Global Hotel chain Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group today said it has tied up with table reservation platform Dineout to provide the former with restaurant reservations.

The partnership will add breadth to the 'local connection and brand positioning to resonate with tech-savvy diners, Carlson said in a statement.

Venturer forays into Indian market with LapTAB * Tech firm Alco today announced its foray into the Indian market in partnership with mobile phone maker, Josh.
Alco will sell its Venturer range of 'laptabs' (laptop- cum-tablet PC) in the Indian market with prices beginning at Rs 11,999.

"India has a large young population and there is a great market opportunity here... In the first year, we hope to sell upwards of 50,000 units," Alco International Managing Director Yickka Lei said.
He added that the company has seen huge response to its products across markets like the US, Indonesia and Morocco.
