Lauding the scientists for their feat, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today said the Mars Orbiter Mission's success was the culmination of a decade's hard work.
"This event marks the culimination of a decade's worth of hardwork. It's a glowing tribute to the ability of our scientists and their unfailing efforts in making this mission a success. We take this opportunity to congratulate every single individual who has been associated with this programme," Singh said.
The MOM programme was launched in November last year when Manmohan Singh was the Prime Minister.
