Tiwari, who is a famous Bhojpuri singer and actor, has also planned to stay at some unauthorised colony for a few days to learn problems faced by the inhabitants, most of whom are from Bihar and Eastern Uttar Pradesh.
"Tiwari will stay at Gas Godam slum at B Block of Inderpuri on the night of Devember 31. He will listen to the problems of locals and also entertain them with his famous Bhojpuri songs," said a Delhi BJP leader.
Earlier, however, he had said he will stay at some unauthorised colony in the city for a few days.
"People in these colonies face many problems. I have planned to stay with them for a few days in the first week of January to know their problems so that solutions could be found" he had said.
Tiwari's "overtures" to the Bihari and Purvanchali voters in Delhi, has led the Aam Admi Party to criticise his move as "slum tour for Poorvanchali votes".
