Marandi misled tribals : BJP

The BJP today alleged former Jharhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi had misled the tribals and asked him to stop blaming the saffron party for the 'faults' allegedly committed by the Congress.
"Let Babulal Marandi stop misleading the people. He should not blame the BJP for the failures committed by the Congress," BJP spokesman Praveen Prabhakar said in a press release.
Questioning as to why Marandi did not hold the Congress responsible for displacements as the Congress made policies that promoted the industrialists while the BJP was taking policies in the interest of the tribals and natives, Prabhakar reminded Marandi had lost twice in elections for his 'negative thought'.

When Marandi, who is the president of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik), was chief minister he used to advocate amendments to Chhotanagpur Tenancy Act (CNT) Santhal Pargana Tenancy Act (SPT), but now he was misleading the people when the Jharkhand government amended it in favour of tribals and natives, Prabhakar said.
Prabhakar claimed that earlier compensation was not given on acquisition of land for school, anganwadi, hospital and roads.
The BJP leader said that the union budget was focused on villages and farmers, which would help the tribals and natives.
