Mark Ronson, AR Rahman join NH7 Weekender 2015 line-up

Indian music maestro AR Rahman, English musician-DJ Mark Ronson and American thrash metal band Megadeth are part of the star-studded line-up of this year's edition of the multi-city music festival NH7 Weekender.

The fest will be held in five cities - Delhi, Bangalore, Pune, Kolkata and Shillong.

"Uptown Funk" hitmaker Ronson will, however, just play in Delhi, Pune and Bangalore at the sixth edition of NH7 Weekender and will not make an appearance in Shillong, where the music festival is happening for the first time in its six years.

Ronson expressed his excitement about his maiden India trip saying, "First ever trip to India for the NH7 weekender also ft Flylo Megadeth and AR Rahman!" alongside a schedule of the festival.

The upcoming edition of NH7 Weekender will kick off in Shillong from October 23 to 24 , followed by Kolkata from October 31 to November 1, Delhi on November 28 and 29, Pune from December 4 to 6 and will culminate in Bangalore on December 5 and 6.

Oscar-winning music composer Rahman will perform in all the four cities except Shillong.

Other Indian and International artistes who will be playing at Weekender are music producer Flying Lotus, Mexican acoustic guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela, Papon and the East India Company (EIC), Kailasa, Parikrama and Vir Das's Alien Chutney.
