The Klaxons star exchanged vows with Knightley in the South of France on May 4. The knot prompted critics to question whether the romance would change the way fans view Righton and his band, reported Daily Star.
To which he replied, "I just fell in love with someone who happens to be amazing. We had a beautiful wedding and there was a lot of love. The music is the music. That thing (public attention) is going to be there because of who she is but I'd say we're a pretty established band."
Righton and Knightley recently returned to London from their honeymoon on the Mediterranean island of Corsica.
