Married woman commits suicide in Faridabad

A 30-year-old married woman allegedly committed suicide here, with her family alleging that she took the extreme step as she was being harassed by her husband, police said today.
On the intervening night of June 20 and 21, the deceased's brother, Rahul received a call informing him that his sister, Renu, a resident of Tilpat, had committed suicide, police said.
In a complaint filed by Rahul, a resident of Madanpur Khadar village, he alleged that his sister was being harassed by her husband, Manoj, which forced her to take the extreme step, they said.
A case has been registered with Sarai Khwaja police station under IPC section 306 (abetment of suicide), they said.

Renu had been married to Manoj since 11 years and they had three children together, they further said.
