Married woman raped by hospital ward boy

A 28-year-old married woman attending her ailing brother at a government hospital here was allegedly raped by a ward boy who has been arrested, police said here today.
22-year-old Ramvtar Balai, employed with SMS hospital, told the woman's husband that he will help them get refund of the cottage ward fee where his brother-in-law was admitted. Balai on the pretext of giving job to the man took the couple to their home where he sent the husband outside to bring cold drinks and snacks and raped the woman, Motidungari police station SHO Hariram Kumawat said.
The ward boy was arrested yesterday, he said.

Meanwhile, the SMS hospital has suspended the ward boy with immediate effect, the medical and health department officials said.
Balai was produced today before metropolitan magistrate Rajesh Kumar who sent him to jail, the SHO said.
