Married woman raped by man in Faridabad

A man has been accused of raping a 45-year-old married woman after serving her a cold drink laced with sedative, police said today.
According to a complaint filed by the woman, she came in contact with one Radheyshyam Arora in reference of getting her the agency of a company.
Radheyshyam, a resident of Sector-49 in Faridabad, came to the woman's house in December last year and told her that the papers of distributorship are lying at his flat in Greater Faridabad.
Relying on his statement, the woman accompanied the man to his flat where she was served a cold drink laced with sedatives, after which she lost her cautiousness.

On regaining cautiousness, the woman realised that she has been raped by the man.
The accused also made a video clip of the act and threatened to kill the woman's children if she revealed the incident to anyone.
Acting on the complaint of the woman, a case was registered yesterday under section 366 (kidnapping), 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC.
The investigating officer ASI Sumitra said that police have started investigations in the case.
