City Superintendent of Police Akash Tomar said several police teams were deployed here to check anti social elements. A team intercepted a man for checking near a temple at railway road trisection.
On checking his bag, police recovered 17 country-made pistols, he said.
The accused was identified as Vicky Panchal. Panchal was associated with the gang which manufactured 'Kasmu's Katta' whose three members were arrested by the Delhi police on Monday.
Panchal was a close associate of Kumar, Tomar said.

During interrogation, Panchal told the police that he had participated in a national level martial arts competition in Mumbai where he competed with a Malaysian player, he said.
He was working as a martial arts instructor but after he lost Rs 10 lakh in a chit fund scam he started supplying country made pistols in NCR area, Tomar said.
The accused told police that till now he had supplied more than 40 pistols to different people, he said.
