Mary Kom called on Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu today at his secretariat office here.
The chief minister extended a warm welcome and greetings to Mary Kom, who was accompanied by husband Onler Kom, an official statement said.
The five-time world boxing champion expressed her delight on her second visit to Arunachal.
"I am here because I love Arunachal. We are neighbours. We are brothers and sisters," she said.
Mary Kom, who came here to attend 'Mrs Arunachal' programme, also spoke about her struggle as a woman to become the world boxing champion.

In her appeal to women of Arunachal, Mary Kom insisted on standing up to fight for their own rights. "If we women do not support and help each other, who will support our cause?," she asked.
She is determined to win a gold medal for her country in Olympic Games, a dream she says has remain unfulfilled.
Khandu expressed delight on her visit to the state and wished her luck to win a gold medal for the country. He also hoped that women of the state will be greatly inspired by her success story, the statement added.
