Traders said besides easing demand at existing levels, adequate stocks position on increased arrivals from producing belts mainly led to decline in masoor and gram prices.
In the national capital, masoor small and bold prices eased by Rs 50 each to Rs 5,850-6,050 and Rs 5,850-6,150 per quintal, respectively.
Its dal local and best quality weakened by a similar margin to Rs 6,950-7,050 and Rs 7,050-7,150 per quintal, respectively.
Gram, gram dal local and best quality also lacked necessary follow up support and ended lower by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,050-4,625,Rs 4,300-4,500 and Rs 4,400-4,700 per quintal, respectively.
