Other pulses moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said some demand from retailers led to rise in masoor and its dal prices.
In the national capital, masoor small and bold rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,250-4,500 and Rs 4,450-4,550, while its dal local and best quality also traded higher by same margin to Rs 5,150-5,250 and Rs 5,250-5,350 per quintal, respectively.
