Mathrubhumi group to organise book fair in Delhi

The Mathrubhumi media group will organise a book fair in the national capital from November 8 to 11.
The fair, to be held at Rabindra Bhavan near Mandi House, will be formally inaugurated by Vice President Hamid Ansari on November 9, which will be followed by book releases and cultural events.
Secretary of the Organising Committee Babu Panicker said, "Never before such a fair by any individual publication has been organised."
"The main objective of the air is to spread literary awareness among the youth," he added.
According to the organisers, around 10 thousand titles will be available in the fair which will also have discussions and seminars that will be attended by eminent Malayalam writers and poets.
A total of eight books, four out of which are of Mathrubhumi publications, will be released during the fair, the organisers said, adding the authors of the books will also be available for discussions during the fair.
