Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and discussed various issues.
"During my visit, I met with the Governor yesterday and also the party's state president. I visited the CM Raje today and discussed with them various issues pertaining to the politics and the country," Mathur told reporters here.
He said the party was focused on developing the states and the nation as a whole.
"In Rajasthan, a lot of work is to be done and I hope that the BJP government would boost the development of the state," Mathur said.
Mathur, who hails from the state, has been given the charge of Uttar Pradesh.
