The announcement was made at the show's Paleyfest panel on Sunday, March 15, reported Aceshowbiz.
"I love collaborating with Ryan Murphy," said Bomer.
"It feels like this world where there are no bounds." He will play one of the lead roles, but the characters and plot details are still kept under wraps.
Both Bomer and Jackson have had working experience with Murphy.
Bomer previously guest starred on the fourth instalment of "AHS" titled "Freak Show".

He has also appeared on FOX's drama musical "Glee" which was created by Murphy, and starred in HBO's movie "The Normal Heart" which was directed by Murphy.
Also at the Paleyfest panel, Jessica Lange who starred in all first four instalments of "AHS" confirmed that she quit the franchise.
"Yes, I'm done. We've had a great run here. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I've had the opportunity to play. In all the madness, I've loved the writers, my actors, Ryan and the whole, I mean, insanity of it, shooting here, shooting in new orleans, the stories, everything," she said.
