Max Life keeps leadership position in claims management

Max Life Insurance has emerged as the top player in outstanding claims ratio.
As per the latest IRDAI annual report, the outstanding claims ratio was 0.07 per cent as of March 2015.
This means that out of the total 9,145 claims received during the year, only 6 claims were pending, Max Life Insurance said in a statement.
For 2015-16, the company has paid a total of Rs 245.46 crore in claims, it said.
The company leads the private life insurance space with payment percentage at 96.03 per cent, it said.
