Meanwhile, Chandigarh recorded a high of 31.5 degrees Celsius.
In Haryana, Ambala recorded a high of 30.8 degrees Celsius while Bhiwani's maximum temperature settled at 32.1 degrees Celsius.
Hisar's maximum temperature settled at 33.5 degrees Celsius while Karnal recorded a high of 30.2 degrees Celsius.
Narnaul registered a high of 34.5 degrees Celsius.

In Punjab, Amritsar recorded a maximum temperature of 32.3 degrees Celsius.
Ludhiana registered a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius while Patiala's maximum temperature settled at 31.6 degrees Celsius.
The weather is likely to remain dry over the next two days in Punjab and Haryana, according to a forecast by the MeT Department here.
