Amritsar in Punjab recorded a high of 36 deg C, up two notches while Ludhiana's maximum settled at 35.3 deg C, up one notch against normal.
Patiala recorded a high of 35.3 deg C, two degrees above normal limits.
In Haryana, Ambala recorded a high of 34.1 deg C while Hisar's maximum settled at 37 deg C, one notch above normal. Karnal recorded a high of 33 deg C.
