The maximum temperature rose to 31.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday, three notches above the season's average, said a MeT Department official.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 12.4 degrees Celsius, two notches below the normal, he said.
The humidity level oscillated between 95 and 29 per cent.
The weatherman has forecast partly cloudy sky along with mist/shallow fog on Monday morning and haze/smoke later in the day.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 30 and 12 degrees Celsius, respectively," the weatherman said.
On Saturday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded at 28.3 and 12 degrees Celsius, respectively.
