Rohtak recorded a high of 31.8 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal, while Hisar registered a maximum of 36.5 degrees Celsius, the MeT department here said.
Ambala and Karnal recorded maximum temperatures of 33.6 deg C and 31 deg C respectively, while Chandigarh saw a high of 33.4 deg C.
In Punjab, Amritsar's maximum settled at 35 degrees Celsius, while Ludhiana and Patiala recorded 33.5 deg C and 34 deg C respectively, both below normal.
The MeT has forecast light to moderate rains or thunder showers at a few places in the two states tomorrow.
