Narnaul, which was lashed by rain, recorded a high of 28 degrees Celsius, down six degrees against normal limits. Karnal's maximum temperature settled at 32.6 degrees Celsius.
In Punjab, Amritsar recorded a high of 32 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal after light rain lashed the holy city.
