Ludhiana and Patiala recorded maximum temperature at 33.1 degrees Celsius and 31.3 degrees Celsius respectively, the MeT Department report said here.
Chandigarh recorded a high of 31.6 degrees Celsius, down one degree against normal.
Ambala in Haryana recorded a high of 32.5 degrees Celsius.
Hisar recorded a high of 35.5 degrees Celsius, while Karnal's maximum settled at 33 degrees Celsius.
The weather is likely to remain dry in Punjab and Haryana over the next few days, the MeT forecast said.
