"Legal action including property attachment is likely to be taken against those not paying any municipal tax," the Mayor said.
The waiver scheme of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation for arrear payment of tax has been extended by 15 more days and the response to the scheme satisfactory, MMiC (Revenue) Debabrata Majumder said.
He told reporters that the scheme, introduced from February 1 to April 30, would now be extended by 15 days.
As against the target of Rs 300 crore, the scheme has so far yielded collection of Rs 301 crore, Majumder said.
